The school was originally established by the Sisters of Mercy in 1960 and still maintains a close connection to the Sisters and the Mercy Charism. Our school serves the Parish communities of Balcatta and Gwelup. Spiritually is developed in many ways here at St Lawrence. Our Religious Education curriculum, Masses and Liturgies throughout the school year and the Making Jesus Real (MJR) program all come together to help us build and enhance our spirituality. We join with the Parish to run the Sacramental Program and this incorporates workshops, information nights and retreats. We have daily prayer to help our students to come closer to God and learn how to give thanks and seek intercessions.
